Threading

What's so good about it?

Ok, so threading is a really, really old technique used to remove hair.

A twist in the thread grips the hair and pulls it from the root. It can scoop even the tiniest of hairs out too, so great on those stubborn chinny ones!

It's a natural (just thread) a lot more accurate and generally you get a better shape because there's more control.

Everyones pain threshold is different.. so its hard to desrcribe, it can be a bit nippy (just like any other hair removal) but overall its not that bad, some people even enjoy it?!

It doesn't take long either, so thats a bonus really.

Don't tamper with them inbetween appointments, sign them over to me, and trust the process if you're growing them back! Results last around 3-6 weeks, all depends on your hair growth/tolerance!

Waxing

Thinking about waxing?

First of all, get your hair at least 4-5mm (3-4 on armpits)
I highly recommend in general as the results can last up to 4 weeks.
Personally I like doing things once every 4-6 weeks, because i can't be bothered with too much maintenance.
Also after years of waxing my hair growth is sparse & fine, so now at full growth (week 6) its less of an issue (for me) great news right?!

Lets talk strip wax first.. (green)
Great on larger areas, its quick and gets the hair from the root.

And now the hot (pink)
This is great for grabbing the teeny, more coarse stubborn hairs. I use this on underarms & bikini mainly, but sometimes  go over patches on the legs that the strip wax didnt grab.

None of it is as bad as you think pain wise- and if you're nervous, pop a pain killer 30 mins before, it'll take the edge off. But after 16 years of doing this job I'm pretty fast anyway 🤷🏽‍♀️

Ok aftercare
Hold back from touching it!
Or at least, wait 24 hours.
Other stuff to avoid in the first 24 hours is a super hot shower, your skin will be irritated and so will you!

Moisturise, every day.

Enjoy!
